A current Doctoral level Licensed Psychologist, licensed in the state of North Carolina to join our team of highly experienced professionals providing home, community, school and center based ABA therapy services for individuals with Autism.  The professional we are seeking will provide coaching and supervision to our team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts related to consultative services.  Supervision may include but is not limited to; video review and feedback, phone conferencing, review and discussion of treatment plans, review and discussion of behavior plans, review and discussion of data analysis, assistance and feedback related to program development and research review and discussion.

Experience working with individuals with autism and utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis is highly preferred.

The Staff Psychologist/Investigator position is responsible for assisting with aspects of the Board’s responsibilities, including, but not limited to:  Processing and investigating ethics complaints;

  1. Reviewing licensure application files;
  2. Responding to ethical and practice-related questions;
  3. Attending Board meetings and reporting complaint investigation results;
  4. Assisting the Board’s attorney in the preparation of investigation cases;
  5. Testifying at administrative hearing;
  6. Drafting statements of charges and educative letters based upon results of complaint investigations;
  7. Drafting correspondence related to licensure applications;
  8. Writing articles for the Board’s newsletter;
  9. Representing the Board at educational and public forums; and
  10. Assisting the Board’s Executive Director and other staff members with general office functions as needed.

The position is located at the Board’s office in Boone, NC.  While flexibility in work hours is required, regular work hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.  This position reports directly to the Executive Director of the Board.
